So, we mailed the wedding invitations today. A little early, but now they are out of the house, and I'm looking forward to what recipes people will send us. I ordered a recipe card cookbook holder from Pampered Chef to put all these RSVP's in. We also ordered the shotglasses. They are quite cute, and should arrive in mid July. So, 2 more things checked off the list with only 47 more to go.
James and Angelina had a garage sale today. We only made a little less than $20. Alas. And we still have a ton of stuff. I guess I'm going to try and convince them to store it until they have their next garage sale over Labor Day weekend. Then we will have a bunch more stuff to sell. I came back and took a 2 hour nap... it was quite nice.
Dan defended his thesis yesterday. He did really well, and now has to publish a couple articles before he can say farewell to West Lafayette, IN and head to MN where he'll have to plug in his car. We went to Tony's and The Other Pub to celebrate last night. Jere and Lisa joined us for the occasion.
The Schafer-Lehnen family reunion is tomorrow. I'm so excited, even though I just saw most of the people last weekend at Bea and Bud 50th Anniversary party. I didn't really get to talk to them though. Then we're going to go to his dad's and drop off the digital camera that we and Kyle and Ashleigh went in on for his Father's Day/ Birthday Gift. Hey, doing it a week early. We were supposed to try and go golfing with my dad this weekend, but it's been raining so, we are going to try and do it the weekend after Vegas. Course my shower is that weekend, but hopefully we can fit it in Sunday.
We decided to make a trip to VA right after Stef and Josh's wedding. We are going to see Kyle for a couple days, then drive up and see Charity and Steve. They just bought a new house, so maybe they will be in it by the time we get there.
We went to meet with Dave yesterday for our final marriage counseling session, and he didn't show up. This was after we half wanted to cancel anyway since Dan wanted to go out to celebrate the completion of his master's and life with Dr. J. Alas. We drove for basically 2 hours for nothing. Linda was there, and didn't know what happened to him. She gave us a personality quiz that told us we are complete opposites. Nothing we didn't already know. But Shaun got to spend more time with Linda.

I think I learn more about our plans for upcoming weekends from your blog than I do from you :-P
