Trieste

The four of us went to Trieste yesterday. As we were driving through narrow roads with cars parked along both sides, Heather folded in her rear-view mirror and this quick paced Italian music was playing the radio. The entire scene reminded me the driving scene in the movie "French Kiss" where Luc is driving the stolen car through the streets of Paris. Only in this case, none of us were freaking out like Kate, but the music was similar. We went to a church and a fortress which were both really cool. The rain actually held off for a nice change. We got a fair bit of walking in though not as much as we did in Venice for sure! All of us had sore feet that night, so we were relieved to not have that much walking to do. We made another delicious meal at home and did all our shopping for Christmas dinner. I can't wait!
